As has been the practice for several years the Indiana Association of Retired Superintendents held their annual meeting on the morning of the first day of the conference.  There was a good turn out of retired superintendents where they had a chance to renew long time freindships and hear updates from Pat Mapes, of IEERB and John Barnes of IDOE.

During breaks in the conference the Atrium area of the Marriott was filled with conversation as attendees exchanged ideas and comments.

For the past several years the Annual Meeting has served as a great place for vendors to interact with
superintendents.  The support of these vendors means a great deal to IAPSS and their participation is
greatly appreciated.

Following a luncheon co-sponsored by CHORUS and Horace Mann the Second General Session started with a
panel discussion on the impact of the Circuit Breaker and then a session on “Do We Need Graded Schools with Derek Redelman, Associate Director, Indiana Chamber of Commerce.

Year were recognized.  The evening was concluded by the recognition of the 2014 Indiana Superintendent of the Year.

Pictures recognizing the various honors and awards will be appearing on the IAPSS Web page.

The final day of the conference started with the traditional Best Ever Breakfast.  The speaker was
Dr. Will Miller who spoke to the topic of “Graduation Jolt”
